- Dogs
at the time of admittance must have a copy of an
up-to-date Rabies Certificate for all dogs attending
the Dog Park, regardless of them having a coupon
booklet.
- Due to aggressive tendencies of
certain breeds around other dogs, Pitbulls,Chow
Chows and Rottweiler breeds will not be allowed
to participate in Dog Park
activities. This is a safety issue and we apologize
for any inconvenience this may cause.
- Dogs must be accompanied by a parent or legal
guardian 18 years or older. No unattended dogs
are permitted in the park at any time.
- Each adult may have only 2 dogs at a time in
the dog park. All dogs must be good tempered,
well adjusted and exhibit good social skills
with both humans and other dogs. The Lodge
reserves the right to refuse the participation
of any pet whose behavior is considered unsafe
or potentially dangerous.
- All dogs must be spayed or neutered. Male
dogs that are not neutered will sometimes become
aggressive and territorial around other dogs.
- All dogs must be on a leash until you are inside
the dog park area. Once inside your dog can be
taken “off-leash” but it is still
a good idea to keep your leash near by and ready
for use if needed.
- No prong (pinch), choke or spiked collars are
permitted in the park
- No running in the park for safety reasons. There
may be some uneven areas on the ground that
might cause a fall. Owners enter the park
at their own risk. A release form must be filled
out prior to entering the park.
- For safety reasons no minors under the age
of 12 are allowed within the Dog Park. All children
should be closely supervised at all times and
behave in an adult
manner. No running, no chasing dogs,
no petting of the dogs unless permission is
granted by the owner. No baby carriages or strollers
are allowed in the Dog Park.
- If you see your dog intimidating another dog
you must take action to avoid a conflict that
may result in injury to either dog.
- No smoking, alcohol or glass containers are
permitted in the Dog Park area.
- No food items or dog treats are allowed in
the Dog Park. Dogs can become very possessive
over food resulting in very aggressive behavior
towards another
dog.
- Puppies must be 6 months or older.
- Owners must clean up and dispose of feces left
by their dogs. Bags and receptacles are
available on the premises.
- Please discourage your dog from digging holes. Holes
can be dangerous to people walking
across the lawn and to other playing dogs.
- Owners are legally responsible for the behavior
of their dogs.
- All gates are to be kept closed at all times. When
you enter the lock in area, please be sure
that all the gates are shut. At that time
you can proceed into
the dog park area closing another gate behind
you. Leaving any gates open
will allow dogs to escape. When leaving
the park, be sure your dog is on a
leash and be sure to close the gates behind
you.
Failure to comply with any of these rules and
regulations will result in immediate
termination of all use privileges related to the
Dog Park. A signed
waiver is necessary
for each Dog Park entry. We encourage you
and your pets to play responsibly.
